About Us
The Friends of the River Almond Walkway (FRAW) is a registered Scottish charity that works to help maintain the pathway along the River Almond in N.W. Edinburgh.Our aims are to maintain and improve the amenity and natural environment of this popular, historic and scenic route along the River Almond, which enters the River Forth, west of Edinburgh, at Cramond, for the benefit of local residents and visitors.The group arranges regular conservation work parties along the walkway, supports several long term projects and other local bodies such as the Cramond Angling Club, Cramond Heritage Trust, Cramond Boat Club and the Edinburgh Ranger Service.

Background
The FRAW conservation volunteer group was formed in March 2012.

We became a registered Scottish charity in August 2014 (No. SC045077).

Meetings
General meetings are arranged on a six monthly basis and are open to all current FRAW group members and the public.
